Packard Plant: East Side

          This image reflects upon the overall desolate condition of some parts of Detroit. The abandoned building which appears to be a factory has been multipurposed, as even a broken-down boat is in the middle of such a place. This goes to show the pure absurdity of the situation and how also the woman seems to spend her days trying eke her existence earning money through non-conventional means. However this strikes as strange as this may have been staged to simply demonstrate an example of the strange and degraded living conditions.
