The first article is about Sam Walton founder of Wal-Mart. The second article is about Jay-Z the rapper.
Something they both have in common is that they came from humble beginning. They both as a result of enduring struggles financially had to become persuasive in selling things. Sam Walton sold clothes and other merchandise in order to make money. Jay-Z sold drugs and later sold his music. something else that they have in common is that they are both criticized. People criticize Walton because Wal-Mart seems to have created some negative financial issues. Jay-Z is also criticized for making his music materialistic in order to make his it more relatable to a bigger audience. They overcome their life struggles and became exceptionally successful and wealthy people.
There are some differences in both articles. In the first article Walton is more portrayed as a cheap person who never donated much of his money. Jay-Z is seen as a person who overcame adversity. It is also mentioned that Walton didn't care for money that much but that Jay-Z loved money.
